Judy Allbee Undergoes Emergency Surgery

The Rev'd Dr. Judy Allbee had emergency surgery on Monday. She has come through the surgery and is now in the very delicate and cyclical stages of recovery in the surgical Intensive Care Unit at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Her husband Steve was at her side when she regained consciousness, and she immediately recognized him and acknowledged his presence. Rev. Mike Wu has been providing personal and pastoral support to Steve and the family on behalf of the ABCCONN family.

Steve and the family sincerely appreciate the outpouring of support. But as you can imagine, they are at Judy's side around the clock and are unable to respond to expressions of concern and inquiries about Judy's condition. We ask that the care and support of the ABCCONN and ABCUSA family be offered through prayer alone at this time. If you would like to send a card or message, we ask that you send it to Judy in care of the ABCCONN office at 90-A North Main Street, West Hartford, CT 06107. You may also leave electronic messages for them, by clicking on "add a comment" in this article. We will make sure that all cards and messages are regularly given to them.

The Board of Managers will be meeting tonight in Meriden at 6 PM. Time will be devoted to prayer for Judy. Please pause wherever you are at approximately 6 PM to join your prayers with those of the Board members.

Additional updates will be provided as appropriate.
